This property houses the council headquarters for Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, which serves more than 10,000 girls ages 5 - 17 throughout ten counties. It also has a fully functioning Girl Scout Shop where supplies, uniforms, sashes, vests, books and awards can be purchased. Orders can be phoned, faxed, emailed or purchased online. Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida received the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for this facility.

Established in Pinellas County in 1967, it also serves the nearby counties of Hernando and Citrus.
