Sterling Conservatory of Music is a private music school that offers lessons in piano, music theory and musicology. It serves students throughout the D.C. area. The school accepts students of all ages and abilities. It includes many styles in its teachings including classical piano, composition, jazz fundamentals, improvisation and songwriting. The school is led by instructor and pianist Gretchen Sterling.

College Nannies + Tutors provides child care, homework help and tutoring services for children of all ages, from infants through high school seniors. For the little ones, nanny services include child care on an on-call or regularly-scheduled basis, both full and part time. The nannies hired are female as well as male (known as "mannies"), and have extensive experience working with kids. For older students, tutoring services are available, from basic homework help for younger students to more rigorous academic lessons, standardized test prep and college advice for older students. The Bragg Hill Family Life Center is a community haven for "at-risk" youth, located three blocks off Fall Hill Avenue. The center offers an after-school educational program, summer camp and various athletic activities for Bragg Hill residents. The BHFLC also offers ESL classes and senior craft classes for adults.
