To achieve our goals, there is a commitment from staff members and students to teach and learn in the most professional manner." Unlike many institutions that expect students to find their own way to pay for their education, the staff at Glen Dow Academy will assist you in every way. GDA is only one of a few cosmetology schools in the Inland Northwest that offers Title IV Financial Aid. Becky Smith in our Financial Aid Department will do everything from guiding you through all the financial aid and loan options, to going over private loan options with you. If a student is still considered a dependant ( younger than 24, no children, not married ) and their parents are interested in helping them with school expenses, there are also Parent Plus Loans available. These are low interest loans with up to 10 year repayments. Again, the team at Glen Dow Academy will happily provide you with information and assistance. Contact Becky Smith, in our Financial Aid Department if you need further assistance or information. The minimum enrollment requirements are being of 17 years of age and completion of a high school diploma/GED. As a private school, we do have an application process that includes a school tour, interview, and aptitude test. Appointments can be made with Sara_Meddock. She will be your first contact at the school.

She also took post-graduate school at La Continental Beauty School in order to obtain senior cosmetologist status. She has completed the following professional skills: Attended advance training to become expert in all types of hair cutting and styling, coloring and skin care. Top sales for Pola Inc. Beauty Beauty Inc Awarded two all-paid travels to Tokyo, Japan and Cannes, France. US Star Academys First place winner in 1998, while attending the New York International Beauty Show. Experience in managing client expectations and owner/operaror of two hair salons in Olde Town Alexandria and Springfield, Virginia. Trung Arai gained a wide range of experience in the hair and skin industry. She worked on all aspects of cosmetology and explored advance techniques in skin care. She also became a leading sales consultant in skin care and cosmetics in order to understand the total beauty concepts. She worked with plastic surgeons to assist the patients with pre and post surgical care. She gained presentation and on-site experience in working at the nationwide beauty conventions in Las Vegas, New York City, and Miami. Recently, she worked for Hair Club For Men and Women to correct men and women baldness. She learned how to make bald people appear to have full growth of hair without resorting to surgery. As owner/operator, she accomplised the following: As stated above, Trung Arai gained a lot of experience in the cosmetology and skin care industry. She is a professional in the following: Trung Arais education stated with La Continental Beauty Academy but it did not stop there. She attended numerous seminars, advance training, conventions, and professional trainer workshops.
