Beverly Driving School is a licensed driving instructional school. It offers private adult driving lessons, road test sponsorship, classroom instruction in addition to on-the-road testing.
The Elementary Enrichment Center is in the Memorial Building at the Beverly Public Schools campus. The Elementary Enrichment Center program is designed for specialized study, critical thinking, group and independent study and creative thinking. This program meets the needs of above-average elementary school students, selected from five participating elementary schools. Students convene for a full day of learning and interaction each week. The program is designed to challenge and develop students' critical skills in various subject areas and through multi-disciplinary methods. Inquiries can be made to instructors via email.
The Healing Center is a holistic health practice founded by Joanna Scaparotti. Its wellness services include massage, Reiki, spiritual healing, reflexology, herbal consultations, breath work and yoga therapy. Futures Behavior Therapy offers therapeutic and individualized treatment to children with disorders on the Autism Spectrum, as well as other, related disorders. Working with the child and the child's family on a close, personal basis, the specialists here create a unique plan to meet each child's needs. Programs for preschool and kindergarten-age children are available, as are programs on both social and life skills for children and teens through eighteen.
In addition, Futures Behavior Therapy also works in conjucntion with its sister company, the Futures School. This special education school provides therapeutic and specialized care for children and young adults ages three to twenty-two, helping them live happy, fulfilling and productive lives.
McKeown Alternative High School was established in 2008 as a partnership between Beverly Public Schools and the Northshore Education Consortium. Formerly operating as Northshore Academy at the McKeown School, at-risk and transitioning students receive individualized, alternative educational programs designed to specifically accommodate their needs. These programs serve middle and high school students through two programs, "Back on Track" and "Launch." Students receive hands-on training in a supportive community, which provides academic tutoring, counseling and vocational opportunities. In addition to tailored programs, students benefit from an in-house nurse, full-time administrator and a structured staff and student environment.
The McKeown's School "Launch" program primarily serves older students transitioning into adulthood, receiving guidance from a life coach. McKeown Alternative School's mission is to develop a safe, nurturing environment for effective transition into adulthood, through positive student and teacher relationships and a personalized, effective curriculum.
Proportional Reading is a software, technology and educational consultation company. Founded by John F. Adams, it offers software and consultations to help clients increase their reading comprehension skills. This educational system has a wide range of potential applications, from teaching children with learning disabilities to helping adults suffering from dementia.
