Founded in 1957, Myrtle H. Stevens Elementary School began its first phase of development with 288 students in 12 separate classrooms. The library, stage, cafeteria and 13 additional classrooms were added 10 years later in 1967. The third stage came to fruition with the addition of the Anthony A. Morganti Gymnasium, built in 1975. Currently, the school's prekindergarten through 5th-grade population totals 480 students.

According to its website, Stevens Elementary looks to foster "good study habits, self-discipline, strong character and good citizenship" through its educational program.

Started in 1966, Santo Driving School promotes safe driving for teenagers and adults. A member of the American Automobile Association, it has six instructors who are fluent in English, Italian and Spanish. Santo offer an eight-hour safe driving course along with classroom instruction. DMV testing is available on-site.

The Porter and Chester Institute was founded in 1946 and has been located at 30 Waterchase Drive since 2006. It's an accredited technical  school offering career training in automotive repair, computers, electronics, HVAC/R, administration, dental and medical assisting, and practical nursing. The institute's employment specialists will assist students in finding jobs after graduation, from help with résumés to accessing a database of employers who hire Porter and Chester graduates. Federal aid is also available to qualified students.
