The Elks Newark-Bloomfield Lodge #21 building features a bar area, recreation area and cooking area. As a member of the larger national Elks organization, this lodge is committed to youth programs, veterans assistance and scholarship opportunities. The Lodge also has a hall available for rental for members and non-members.
This group includes nearly 1 million members in more than 2,000 lodges across the country. 1590 is the local lodge of the international fraternal organization.
The Elks in Parsippany meet the second and fourth Wednesday of every month. There are almost a million members across the country with a 141 year history.
Their goal is to serve people and the communities in a protective and benevolent manner. To obtain membership, you must be sponsored by an existing Elk.
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual aid. It is the nation's largest veterans service organization, committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security and continued devotion to service members and veterans.
