Guitar Bar Jr. is a kids' version of Guitar Bar, a musical shop and instructional center. It offers an array of instruments and musical accessories as well as individualized guitar, bass, voice and piano lessons. Group rock appreciation classes are offered for kids ages 2 to 4 years old.

The Bergen Academy of Music and Art is a musical institution that caters to students from age 4 and up. Located on Kinderkamack Road, they offer a variety of private lessons including piano, guitar and voice, and piano classes for 4 and 5 year olds. For those interested in getting started, they offer a free trial session with a potential instructor.
In the summer of 1970, Marvin and Jan Klebe bought a two-room school house on the outskirts of Petaluma and started Cinnabar Theater. Their goal was to create a place where local talent could perform, collaborate and educate. Today, Cinnabar Theater is the only venue in Sonoma County that produces opera, musical theater, dramatic theater, chamber series, dance and special festivals. The Cinnabar Young Rep is a year-round program that offers classes, workshops, performance opportunities, summer camps and festivals, where children as young as 4 learn the art of the theater. The Hudson Valley Writers' Center is dedicated to the advancement of the literary arts and serves as an important hub for writers and readers in the region. Since 1988, HVWC has hosted workshops, classes and readings in the community. The non-profit also conducts outreach programs to enrich regional audiences. Each year the group releases at least one book of poetry, published by HVWC's Slapering Hol Press.
