Founded in 1990, Quad City Arts is a visual arts gallery and re-granting program, featuring local performing artists in Rock Island, Ill. Formed due to the merger of Quad City Arts Council, Visiting Artists, Inc., Festival of Trees and Bix Arts Festival, It serves the residents of Rock Island, Henry and Mercer counties in Illinois and Scott, Clinton, and Muscatine counties in Iowa. The organizations which finance the Quad City Arts include Festival of Trees, Quad City Arts Partners (memberships), and operating grants from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency, and the Iowa Arts Council, which is a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs. It also provides various literary programs and public sculpture programs and programs for the metro youth.

Set on a tiny knoll surrounded by tall trees and evergreens, a few minutes east of St. Louis, the award-winning restaurant is known for its varieties of steak. It is here that the owner, Sam Andria, created the versatile Andria s Brush-On Steak Sauce that can be used beyond traditional beef and pork dishes with chicken and fish as well. As requests from diners for the sauce for their home use increased, the restaurant decided to put the sauce on the market and this resulted in furthering the popularity of the restaurant and its sauce.

We offer art classes in oil painting, drawing, watercolor and sculpture and have exhibitions all year round! We provide more than 60 hours per week of open studio sessions with live models. The Palette and Chisel is the premier institution for figure drawing, painting and sculpting. The Palette and Chisel Academy of Fine Arts values our students growth. The new members join as Associate Members, then after one year they can become Artist Members with additional benefits and responsibilities. As an Associate Member, you will have the opportunity to master and develop some of your techniques you have already acquired in our open studio sessions. You will also receive discounts on classes, and if you have a teaching background you may be able to rent space and teach a class! As an Artist Member, you are able to exhibit your work in the galleries of our 1870s Italianate Mansion. invited to the award exhibition, the Gold Medal Show, as well as the chance to vote at regular quarterly membership meetings. Weve got panoramic images of 6 Super Bowls, about a dozen NBA Finals and World Series games. We also have stadium and arena photos of regular season NFL, NBA and MLB games. Our selection of college sports is equally impressive. We have panoramics of five Rose Bowl games and several Final Four games, along with many other regular season matchups including nearly all of the Big Ten schools. Our scenic images include stunning shots of about a dozen National Parks, as well as beautiful lesser known areas of the US and other countries. We also offer professional picture framing of the photographs we sell.
